Pepper was our heart dog.

She came into my life at just 8 weeks old, a Jack Russell/Blue Heeler mix from an Amish farm in Pennsylvania, and never stopped being by my side after that. For 14 years, she was family in every sense of the word—loyal, steady, intelligent, and full of personality. She spent 10 of those years in Colorado with me and Nick, building a life rooted in companionship and unconditional love.

Pepper is the inspiration behind everything we do here. She is the dog in our logo and the spirit behind this business. The way we care for animals—patiently, attentively, and with deep respect for their individual personalities—comes from loving her and learning from her every day.
