Boarding & Daycare Requirements

For the health and safety of all pets in our care, dogs must:

• Be current on Rabies, DHPP (Distemper/Parvo), and Bordetella vaccinations.

• Be free of contagious illnesses, parasites, fleas, and ticks.

• Be on a veterinarian-approved flea and tick preventative.

• Be in generally good health and physically able to participate in normal household activities.

• Have no history of aggression toward people or other animals.

• Be comfortable being handled by both males and females.

• Be comfortable around other friendly dogs.

• Complete a Meet & Greet before their first boarding or daycare reservation.

• Be spayed or neutered if over 12 months of age (exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis).

Meet & Greet Requirement

All new clients are required to complete a Meet & Greet before scheduling services.

This visit allows us to:

• Get to know you and your dog.

• Evaluate temperament and play style.

• Discuss your dog's routine, medical history, and preferences.

• Ensure that our home is the right fit for your pet.

Our highest priority is maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for every dog. We reserve the right to decline services if we believe our home would not be the best fit for your pet.

What to Bring

Please bring:

• Your dog's regular food for the entire stay (pre-portioned if possible)

• Any medications or supplements with written instructions

• A leash and properly fitted collar or harness

• Emergency contact information

• Your veterinarian's contact information

Optional items include:

• Favorite blanket

• Bed

• Toy

• Treats

While we do our best to care for personal belongings, we cannot guarantee that toys, bedding, collars, or other items won't become dirty, worn, or damaged during normal use.

Crate & Quiet Time

Although dogs spend much of their time enjoying supervised interaction and family life, there may be times when quiet rest is necessary for meals, overnight sleeping, safety, or individual downtime.

Dogs should be comfortable resting in a crate or designated quiet space if needed. Crating is never used as punishment and is only utilized when appropriate for each dog's safety, comfort, and well-being.

Socialization & Play

Dogs are carefully introduced and supervised during all interactions.

Playgroups are based on:

• Size

• Temperament

• Energy level

• Individual personalities

Because dogs are social animals, minor scratches, bumps, or rough play may occasionally occur despite careful supervision. Every reasonable precaution is taken to provide a safe environment, but owners acknowledge that normal canine interactions carry inherent risks.

Feeding & Medication

We happily administer medications according to your written instructions.

To reduce the risk of digestive upset, all owners are asked to provide their dog's regular food for the duration of their stay. We do not change diets unless directed by a veterinarian.

Health & Veterinary Care

If your dog becomes ill or injured while in our care, we will make every reasonable effort to contact you immediately.

If veterinary care is necessary and you cannot be reached, you authorize Jade Hill Pet Sits LLC to obtain medical treatment for your pet.

The pet owner is responsible for all veterinary expenses incurred during the stay.

Dogs showing signs of contagious illness before arrival may be refused entry to protect all pets in our care.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up

Please arrive within your scheduled appointment window.

To help keep everyone safe:

• Dogs must arrive on a standard leash or secure harness.

• Retractable leashes are not permitted during drop-off or pick-up.

• Late arrivals or pickups may result in additional fees if they interfere with scheduled appointments.

Reservations & Cancellations

Reservations are confirmed after:

• Required paperwork has been completed.

• Vaccination records have been received.

• Meet & Greet has been successfully completed (for new clients).

Boarding space is limited.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. Holiday reservations are subject to our Holiday Cancellation Policy.

Photos & Updates

We love sharing updates during your pet's stay!

Whenever possible, you'll receive photos and updates so you can see how your pet is doing. If you prefer not to have your pet photographed or shared on our social media pages, simply let us know before your reservation.

Emergency Contact

All boarding and daycare clients must provide:

• An emergency contact who is authorized to make decisions if you cannot be reached.

• Current veterinary information and a copy of vaccination records.

• Any important medical or behavioral information before your dog's stay.

Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service

Jade Hill Pet Sits LLC reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if a dog:

• Displays aggressive or dangerous behavior.

• Shows signs of contagious illness or parasites.

• Poses a risk to people or other animals.

• Has medical or behavioral needs that cannot be safely managed in a home environment.

• Provides inaccurate or incomplete health or behavior information.
